Jordan Hope Vera

As the BIG Goals Steward, traditionally known as the Program Director, Jordan oversees the development and implementation of actionable goals tailored to the unique needs of each BIG.

My Story

Jordan Vera is a TBRI® Practitioner in Austin, specializing in trauma-informed care for children and teens affected by loss and separation. Her career began with direct care in emergency shelters and residential treatment centers, expanding into various social services. She focuses on aged-out youth who are court-involved, experiencing homelessness, or survivors of trafficking, and is committed to equipping parents and professionals to support these youth.

The Vera home has provided refuge for over 16 aged-out youth and their children. Jordan is a proud mom, Titi, and grandma, with her family formed through foster care and the adoption of her daughter, Lizzy. Her passion for justice stems from her cultural heritage, lived experiences, and faith, believing that systemic transformation begins at home through compassion, integrity, and accountability.
