Vision, Mission, and Goals
Youth need more than a program, they need family.
We want everyone who visits the farm to feel like it is indeed ‘My Family’s Farm.’
Our hope is the young adults, or as we call them 'Bigs', we serve grow to see it as their family’s farm not just another organization or institution but a place they can call home.
Our vision is to create a community at the farm that embraces youth, transitioning from foster care to independence, as family.
.
Our mission is to provide youth aging out of foster care (or who otherwise find themselves without family) with a place to call home and a people to call family.
Our 3 Main Goals

Forging Family
Community forged into family. At My Family’s Farm, we don’t run a program—we build a family. Youth choose to belong here, learning to live, communicate, and grow together in a community bound not by blood, but by commitment and love.

Cultivating Character
Trials transformed into character. Life at the Farm is where iron sharpens iron—where challenges refine, grace restores, and perseverance shapes who we become. In the friction of real community, character is cultivated and hearts are strengthened.

Empowering Generations
Growth that multiplies through generations. Like trees that take time to root before bearing fruit, our youth grow into leaders whose lives nourish others. The transformation here doesn’t end with them—it breaks cycles and builds legacies.

Future Family Farms
We believe it is important to keep our tiny homes 'smaller' communities of 20 tiny homes for more intentional family relationships to be fostered and separate them by gender. But this means there will be an immediate need for other farms.

We want to establish a Future Family Steward House on the property to see the multiplication of these future farms. This would allow future family stewards and their families to come live on our farm and be immersed in the day-to-day operations to be equipped to successfully plant new My Family's Farms around the city, nation, and world.
